Tennessee State Requirements
Tennessee Insurance Continuing Education is brought to you by
Insurance Training Systems, Tennessee Provider Number 1044.
We offer the following certified Tennessee Insurance CE (continuing
education) classes:
Tennessee State Requirements
Continuing Education Hours
12 hours annually
Continuing Education Compliance Date
License renewal date (Renewal date is the license date, annually)
Type of courses accepted for CE Credit
Independent self study courses or classroom
Course Subject Requirements
None
Carryover Requirements
A maximum of 12 hours may be carried over to the next reporting period
Course Repetition
Courses may not be repeated
Final Exam
Final exam does not need to be monitored.
Exemptions
• Individuals who are at least 65 years old
• Individuals who have been licensed continuously in Tennessee for at least 15 years
• Non resident agents if their state has CE requirements and has a reciprocal agreement with Tennessee
• Those licensed prior to 1/1/97, unless they choose to be subject to the CE requirements
